Mateusz Morawiecki nominated & sworn in as Prime Minister of Poland

The Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago, Piotr Janicki in conjunction with the Polish American Chamber of Commerce hosted a meeting with Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland and Minister of Development and Finance, on the occasion of his visit to Chicago. Guests were invited to this special meeting on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 07:30 p.m. held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago where a special award was presented to Minister Morawiecki by Iwona Filipiak and Stanley Skoczen of the PACC.

The meeting was well attended by the leadership of Chicago's Polonia as well as various members of Chicago's diplomatic corps,  Pol. Deputy P.M. Mateusz Morawiecki, Pol. C.G. Piotr Janicki & Hu. C.G. dr. Zita Bencsik

among whom was Dr. Zita Bencsik, Consul General of Hungary in Chicago. She had the opportunity to introduce herself and speak at length with the Deputy Prime Minister.
